Copyright, DMCA, and Abuse Notices

getweb.pics notice-and-reporting policy for infringement and service misuse.

getweb.pics respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content processed through the service infringes your rights or the service is being misused, send a detailed notice for review.

  • Send copyright and abuse complaints with enough detail to identify the material, the affected rights, and the requested action.
  • Incomplete notices may delay review because the operator must be able to identify the disputed material and evaluate the request.
  • The operator may remove access, preserve logs, notify affected users, or request additional information before acting.
  • Repeat misuse may result in blocking, suspension, or permanent denial of access.
1. What to Report
  • Claims that copyrighted material was processed, copied, or made available without authorization.
  • Unauthorized commercial use of images or metadata retrieved through the service.
  • Automated abuse, scraping misuse, credential bypass attempts, or attempts to target private/internal systems.
  • Any use that appears fraudulent, harmful, unlawful, or clearly inconsistent with the Terms of Use.
2. What a Copyright or DMCA Notice Should Include
  • Your full name and contact information.
  • A clear description of the copyrighted work or rights you claim are infringed.
  • The exact URL, job details, or material needed to identify the allegedly infringing content.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rightsholder, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rightsholder, where applicable.
3. How Notices Are Handled

The operator may review available records, preserve relevant logs, restrict access, remove material where appropriate, or ask for clarification before taking action.

If a notice is facially incomplete, abusive, or impossible to verify, the operator may decline to act until sufficient information is provided.

4. Counter-Notices and Disputes

If the operator receives a facially valid counter-notice or a credible dispute, the operator may pause action, request more information, or follow the process required by applicable law.

The operator is not required to adjudicate private ownership disputes and may defer to court orders, platform policies, or external legal process.

5. Repeat Infringers and Abuse

Users who repeatedly violate rights, trigger substantiated complaints, or abuse infrastructure may be suspended or permanently blocked.

The operator may maintain internal records reasonably necessary to identify repeat misuse and enforce restrictions.

6. No Transfer of Rights

getweb.pics is a tool for technical processing. It does not assign, license, or validate rights in third-party content.

Users remain responsible for obtaining permissions and complying with all applicable license terms, contracts, and laws.
